Landscape Architecture
At Red Kite, innovative, creative and sustainable design-led solutions are the core of our work. We have extensive experience in reimagining public spaces whilst assisting organisations in creating nature positive initiatives. We provide a full suite of design services from visualising the potential of a site at concept, navigating the planning process and ultimately administrating the delivery of projects. Our design work considers how to optimise BNG to provide the best solution for placemaking and our clients’ budgets. Our team can also help develop green space strategies to enable funding to be secured or to form the base of green finance models for futureproofing assets. We also undertake landscape visual assessments, management plans, audits and comment on Major planning applications.

Ecology
At Red Kite we offer a fully integrated ecological consultancy. Our in house team are able to undertake initial appraisal and site assessments and provide the full range of protected species surveys, licensing and mitigation plans. We also provide cohesive ecological management plans and BNG assessments in conjunction with landscape design proposals.

Arboriculture
Red Kite has a strong track record in undertaking tree and hedgerow surveys and providing arboricultural related services for a range of clients. Our Arboricultural Consultant, who is an experienced Arborist, works closely with Red Kite’s Landscape Architects, to support clients through the planning process. As well as tree surveys we can conduct Arboricultural Impact Assessments, Arboricultural Method Statements, and provide site attendance. Our expertise can support the development of woodland management strategies and we can provide advice on tree planting in the public realm and woodland creation.
